July 4th plans

Published by aram under Life, Party

Alright kiddies, I have my fourth of july plans:

A deep impact party!
“And what kind of party is that Jooree?”

Well, NASA has decided to spend (edit) even (better tim?) more ridiculous amounts of money on try to detonate a comet in space. Read the story here

So, with the usual bbq, drinks, fireworks, etc. Hopefully a spectacular showing at around 11pm Fourth of July. So who’s in? Venue will be decided. Any suggestions are welcome also. Leave a comment if it’s a yea. Evites will be sent out shortly to those interested.

note: I’ve been asked why I only post useless comic strips rather than actually updating on my life.

Deep thought: maybe its easier to post useless comic strips rather than exposing something about life.

Going too much about one’s life is overrated. I mean, does the public actually find an individual’s life so interesting?

Sadly yes. SO in my usual spirit of bucking the trend:

Your Daily Get Fuzzy

AH!

I have so far felt 2 earthquakes within the last 2 weeks.

The end is near my friends.

Strangely, they have all been in the Riverside County area…..

Mood:

I read my horoscope religiously, then quickly forget it. However, today’s was interesting…

Daily extended (by Astrology.com)
They say insanity is repeating the same action and hoping for a different result — i.e., being surprised when you stick your finger in an electric socket and receive a shock. Right now, there’s some kind of situation or relationship in your life that’s the equivalent of getting burned — so why do you keep going back for more? A darned fine question — and one that you can answer with a little soul-searching.

What if I like getting burned? I do like the idea of being a bit insane. It makes the world seem a little less confusing.

If anything, the only thing that could explain my attraction to the electric socket is this movie I watched recently. Non ti muovere, with the exquisite Penelope Cruz and the wonderful Sergio Castellitto (also watch Mostly Martha). Ask me for a copy. It was released a month ago, and it probablys deals best with the subject of why women settle for less.
