At the request of Nathan………….my life

I realized something today……some things are not worth trying to get after a certain time…….and some things are worth trying to get after a certain time…..

Men clearly belong in the first category, while food, TV, the perfect movie seat, and love belongs in the second…..

School isn’t starting to suck yet……..I’ve actually talked to my classmates…..somewhat. People can actually be nice at UCI, but sadly they’re all white people…

My classes are great though, I have the same english professor. Glen Odom
(click to see his rating), so I’m happy about that. My soc sci class is boring as hell, but I have doug to help me so its all good My history class is a total failure though UGH I believe robots have more emotions than this man…… oh well he hates bush, so he has something working in his favor

I GOT PAID TODAY! WHOO HOO Man I love tutoring…..even though I almost fell asleep……I’m getting sleep deprived already..and its the 3rd day of school….wonderful….

I realized what I missed in life………dating. I miss going on random dates with cute guys….I miss the getting ready session, the nervousness (well guys usually are ha ha), the anticipation, and then the awkward good-byes……and acting so non-chalant during the whole thing just to throw them off…….

Man……..I’m such a bitch to date……

favorite comic

Published by aram under Life

So……..if you know me well enough………I read the paper everyday……and i always head to the comics first…

Well, this is one of my favorite comics……Get Fuzzy. Its about single life and pets……..strangely resembles mines…..

Anyways, its about Rob, the single guy, Bucky, a crazy cat; and Satchel, a loveable dog….and my favorite character. His naiveness is so charming, hilarious, and pitiful all at the same time……….

slicing cheese with laser

Published by aram under Internet

OK couldn’t resist….

One useless story coming up!

University Adapts Laser to Slice Cheese

MADISON, Wis. - A researcher from the University of Wisconsin at Madison has figured out a better way to slice cheese just use a laser.

“At any other university, people would have just laughed. But this is Wisconsin. It’s cheese. And this is no laughing matter,” said Xiaochun Li, a mechanical engineering professor and laser expert.

Traditional cheese processing has a number of shortcomings, he said.

Large cutting machines require considerable care to keep cheese from becoming contaminated by bacteria. And it’s impossible to slice cheese very thin because it tears or sticks to the cutting blade.

But now Li, working with engineering graduate student Hongseok Choi, has adapted the same kind of laser used for eye surgery to slice Wisconsin’s most famed food product.

At first, Li tried using a traditional commercial laser that uses heat to cut by melting or evaporating; it fried the cheese.

“It smelled really bad,” he said.

Li tried again using a new class of laser that emits light in ultraviolet, and therefore shorter, wavelengths. That laser, known as a cold laser, cuts by blasting apart the molecular bonds that hold materials together.

Hrm……so…….we can’t find a cure or cancer, common cold, or develop a technology to help people, but by god we can CUT CHEESE WITH LASER!

The sadness of humanity….

hrm….

I guess no one likes the trivial stories that I have set out for my audience………so I will switch now and go completely monolaugueish…….

“Today was a day, a great day of some sorts. The sky was blue, my classes were great, and I got paid……”

hrm… didn’t turn out as well as I wanted it to be. I’ll leave the monolaging to the actors/actresses
