Hello from Northern California, where the food is expensive, and the air is clean.
After washing the stink of finals off of me, we had Spaz’s birthday (read about it here), which was good. Then after, Han and I got a late start going up, so it was a 9 hour trip filled with stories, delirium, (lots of delirium), and mints. Han finally pulls over, because he’s about to fall asleep, but by then I’m just about as tired as he was (hey keeping the driver awake is an exhausting job!) We woke up, ate, then I crashed at Si Yeon’s room, until now.
So now I’m here, surrounded by lots of college students, and clean air (did i mention the clean air??) Looking forward to SF.
Thought of the day:
So, apparently we have a lot of people confessing their crimes after watching the movie “Passions”. (read one example here) So while it seems like the power of Jesus is affecting people, its not about his words or his actions thats getting people to confess, but more the suffering he went through that was portrayed graphically in the movie. So, while the power of images affect people, why not the powerful words of the bible? (sorry its heavy, but I’m feel like waxing a little philosophical thoughts right now)
